Another Hill

Isaiah 41:13. For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Charlie is reintibated.  He was struggling too much to breath over the last few days due to an infection.  He is much more comfortable and well oxygenated now. Hopefully he will heal and his need for oxygen support will decrease.

Today they tried to replace his plugged feeding tube, with no success.  During that attempt they discovered new information that leaves the doctors stumped.  It seems that surgery is the only option, but that could be more dangerous at this point than helpful.  Though without it, we go nowhere.  A transplant has been mentioned as well, though he may not be a candidate and it presents other challenges.  We need divine wisdom from God for the best way to help Charlie’s sweet little frame heal and recover.  The surgeons and doctors are discussing the options for Charlie.  Please pray with us that God would give wisdom abundantly.  Charlie is happy today.  Tolerating all the little procedures like a champ!

Thank you for praying for our family, especially Charlie the champ!

  2. Dear Debbie, My heart goes out to you as you progress up the new hill, so asking for a strong sense of the Lord’s presence– you chose such a good scripture focus. Praying for wisdom and the Lord’s strategy for the best solution for the little guy.

How blessed little Charlie is to have a mama like you✨🙏🏻 Susan
