Blessings and Needed Miracle

Charlie is the one of the biggest and best things that has ever happened to me!  “Oh, she is just bias,” you may be thinking. Ok, well…maybe only a tiny bit. 🙂 But, seriously! I cannot even begin to describe the amount of love and joy this little guy can pull out of you….it’s amazing. I LOVE babies….but I never knew I could love one SO much! When I asked he Lord for a little Down Syndrome sibling, I had no idea what kind of package God would send. This journey has brought so much joy, many tears, lots of laughter, patience, perseverance, and ultimately…it has brought us all closer to the Lord. As we continue our journey with Charlie, the Lord constantly reminds me that:

His timing is perfect

His power is made perfect in our weakness

Nothing is to big for God to handle

Never underestimate His LOVE, CAPABILITIES, POWER

And so, with faith, we are asking God for another miracle. God is full of miracles and we know the Lord saved Charlie once, and we are asking Him to do it again! The clock is ticking and time is running out with Charlie’s IV feeds. If Charlie is to live, grow and thrive, his stomach needs heal. The Central line (IV port) is risky and its infections have been the cause of the last few hospitalizations. It has also believed that we are out of central line sites, so another infection could be hazardous. Also, his liver and heart can only bear the IV nutrition for a limited time before becoming destructive to those organs. We have tried many things to help heal Charlie’s stomach, but ultimately he needs a miracle. The Lord has been so good, so faithful, and so powerful in Charlie’s life. HE IS ABLE!

Will you join us in asking the Lord for a miracle? Charlie is the Lord’s and we trust in HIM!

With love and gratitude,

Savannah Fine

  2. Yes . Thank you for that update as we have been praying for him almost everyday since he was born. It brings tears and humility to us when we think of all he’s been through knowing all he knows is love from his family meanwhile you are the ones suffering with love for him if I should put it that way.. our hearts go out to all love . Love. Love. The pictures! Thanks for sending😘
Also I want to share my miracle and perhaps it might be something to look into which drs. Don’t seem to know. For 6 years I had a stomach ache most days and it would feel like someone punched me in the gut for 3 days after then another stomach ache. Went to all kinds of Drs and finally on my own discovered it was “leaky gut ” a symptom no Drs seems to know about. Have you heard of it? Check it out at . I don’t know if that’s what Charlie has but antibiotics and stuff he’s had to take to keep him alive can cause this. Within hrs of taking certain supplements in my case l-arginine it started to heal. I have been free of stomachs ache and problems that cause them for a month now. I know you probably get all kinds of advice but wanted to share what to me is a miracle
Will continue to pray for all of you and your darling miracle boy🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  3. Savannah, thank you so much for this update. He is sure a cutie and seems to be a very happy little guy. Thank you for our loving caring of him! Many prayers from a member of Grandma and Grandpa’s church in Round Rock, Texas.

  4. Thank you Savannah for your faith-filled update. We will continue to pray that God will give Charlie a miraculous healing. Here is a verse that I was meditating on today:

Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

I am grateful for the hope we have that the “portion” that is forever, belongs to Charlie.

  5. Dearest Fine Family… the Martinellis are PRAYING!!! I spoke with Elaine a few weeks ago and she gave me a full update (since sweet Charlie’s birth). So humbled as I read through the past posts…. WOW, God is being glorified through this journey, your responses, and your sacrifice of praise. THANK you for sharing your lives with all of us and pointing our hearts and minds to HIM through the process. I wept reading many of the posts because of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. It is beautiful the way you are loving and caring for Charlie…. it is a LIGHT in a very dark world! Much Love, Diane for all the Martinellis
