Headed HOME

With great Hope in Jesus and with absolute knowledge of what lies on the other side of the river of death I wanted to update you on Charlie’s situation. With a new added infection today and the digression of Charlie overnight, it has become clear today that we need to bring Charlie home to be where he is happy and with the people he loves quickly. Hospice will be helping us out in these, what appear to be Charlie’s final days. There will not be a final push to try to get his gut to work as this would be more detrimental to Charlie at this point. We sense a strong calling from the Lord to bring Charlie HOME (heaven) to be with HIM. I love each of you!

  1. Charlie, my heart is in pieces, and yet trusting God, trusting Him that this precious gift from above was not wasted at all; trusting God that He can resurrect in the very last hour, that if it doesn’t happen now, that it will happen later.

Charlie, praying to the Almighty God for an almighty miracle still; I know this doesn’t even seem possible, but I know that with God nothing is impossible.

    Dear HEavenly, Abba Father,
Please save Charlie. Please heal him completely in what way you see fit. Please Lord. We desire a mighty healing for Charlie, one that would give you all the glory, one that would give your name praise and honor. Lord, we don’t know your will, but we pray Lord. Pleas hear us Father. Help us now Father. In Jesus precious name, Amen

  2. Oh precious Fine family, our hearts are in this with you. This is hard news to hear, but it is no surprise to God. Persevere sweet brothers and sisters. God is glorified even in times like this. Each one of you is a true Lion Heart. Hugs and kisses to Charlie.

  3. Your family has been such an encouragement throughout Charlie’s life – reflecting God’s incredible love, patience, kindness and peace.
Though obviously it is an unimaginably difficult time, the peace of God shines through this post.
Thank you, and we will continue praying for God’s will to be done for Charlie (and your whole family).
    Much love from Australia xo

  4. Praying with you. Precious Charlie, surrounded by the love of his family and soon welcomed to his Heavenly Fathers bosom. Blessed be the name of the Lord. All the Rosses

  5. Lifting you all in prayer as I have throughout Charlie’s journey. I so admire your strong faith & know it is rewarded with His love & comfort.

  6. Praying for each dear one of you, and hoping in Him who is mighty to save, that He would comfort you all as Charlie moves to heaven to live with His Savior, and that Charlie’s bold suffering that he has endured these many months would build great legions of faithful followers of our King, that we may not even know this side of heaven. We will continue to pray for you. May His perfect peace be yours.

  7. The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Num. 6:24-26

Especially in this time, we pray for Charlie and the Fine family that You would bless them, and keep them. Make Your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them. Lift up Your countenance upon them and give them peace. Hold them tight and may they sense Your near presence!

    1. My prayers are with you, Charlie, and your family. These last days are so hard, but I know that you have the knowledge that you all have God’s comforting hand watching over you.

  8. Dear Fine family,

The Lord couldn’t have given Charlie a more loving family. Your faith and love during this season has been is a testament to God’s grace and mercy, showing many that every good and perfect gift is from the Father of light. Knowing that Charlie will be in the everlasting arms of our Savior, no more pain or tears, is a blessing, yet we weep with you as you let go of your sweet little lionhearted Charlie. May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray that you are comforted by God, since we do not grieve as those who have no hope.

Such an extraordinary love shines from Charlie, a love that will continue shining even when he physically may not be with you. Your family and Charlie are in our hearts. Love Emily, Peter and Winston (winsworld).

  10. Oh Dearest Fine Family!
We are praying for you all! John 14:27! “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Love to you all!

    1. We in TX are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Telling a child goodbye is so hard. We trust and believe that the angels will be there to take Charlie to Jesus’ arms. Please know that we are so sorry that you only had him for such a short time. Even so, what a joy he has been! Much love to each of you. Harlan and Barb Ralph
